MarketLink connects Customers, Farmers, and participating local markets in one pickup-focused platform. Its purpose is to make Farmer availability clearer before market day, help Customers reserve available products, and give Farmers practical tools for preparing and managing pickup orders.
MarketLink keeps the transaction local: Customers collect their pre-orders at the selected market and pay the Farmer in person.
Farmers register for a MarketLink account and complete their Farmer profile. After approval, they can connect their profile to participating markets and maintain the schedule information customers rely on when planning a pickup.
Farmers can create and manage products, maintain weekly stock and recurring stock templates, set product availability, configure pickup slots and capacity, and accept pre-orders for the markets they attend.
The Farmer Portal provides order management tools so Farmers can review incoming orders, accept or decline them, mark orders ready, and complete them when the Customer collects the order.
Customers can browse participating Farmers, markets, and available products before market day. Product availability reflects the Farmer's current stock for the selected market.
When ready, a Customer can add available products to a pre-order cart, continue to checkout, choose an available pickup date and time slot, and place the reservation.
On pickup day, the Customer goes to the selected market, collects the order from the Farmer, and pays in person.
MarketLink is built around pickup at participating markets. Checkout only presents pickup dates and slots that are valid for the Farmer, market schedule, current time, slot capacity, and existing bookings.
There is no online payment workflow. Customers pay the Farmer in person when the pre-order is collected. MarketLink does not require card, payment-gateway, delivery, or shipping details for a pickup pre-order.
